CT Guided Surgery
For dental implant patients, we are proud to offer CT-guided surgery.
The vast majority of oral surgeons perform implants without CT topography, which means they use a drill to open the gums, find the ideal placement for the implant, check the angle, and put the implant in position.
Our approach allows us to plan the entire surgery in advance, using computers to map out the exact procedure. The use of 3-D modeling means no guesswork is involved, and the entire procedure is faster and more comfortable for the patient. We can perform implant surgeries in mere minutes, whereas other methods can take hours.
PRGF for Bone Grafting
Our practice also uses Plasma Rich in Growth Factors (PRGF), helping our bone graft patients enjoy more successful surgical outcomes.
PRGF involves a simple blood draw. Your blood sample is placed into a centrifuge where important growth factors can be isolated, then baked into your bone graft material. This minimizes the risk of bone graft rejection while also shortening your recovery time.
